Bourjois nail polish review

A couple of days ago, I wrote about my summer beauty buys, and I wrote that I would do full reviews of the things I bought as I was trying them.
You can see my post about the summer beauty buys here.
The first item I tried was the green Bourjois nail polish, it promises to last for 10 days as well as being chip resistant, so I was sold, unfortunately, I don’t think it quite lives up to those promises…
Price: 9.99€ (11.6$)

The first layer of the nail polish was so light and see through that I almost gave up right away, but it dried quickly so I applied another layer and it started to look better, I did, however, have to apply a total of three layers to get the desired color and coverage. But after those 3 layers, the color was smooth and clear, and I was really happy with how quickly it dried.
The nail polish promises to last up to 10 days and to be chip resistant, but already on day two, I started seeing cracks and lines across my nails, which I was really disappointed about.
I still really like the color, I think it’s very summery and perfect for when I hopefully get a little more tan, so I’ll definitely use it again.
But I was expecting more of this brand, so I don’t think I will be purchasing more nail polishes of this type again.

Have you tried this brand? What was your experience like? – I’d love to know! I’d also love to know about your favorite nail polish brands, as I am always on the lookout for new ones to try.
Lots of love, Anne
