I love French cooking and French pastries, especially croissants! Unfortunately, I didn’t have my own recipe for them, so I’ve been looking around for a good one, which also tasted like the ones I had in France.
I’ve tried tons of different recipes from tons of different blogs and recipe books, and this is by far my favorite, so I decided to share it with you, in case you also would like to be able to make homemade croissants like the French!
This recipe is from alsothecrumbsplease.com which is a great blog run by Sabine, who is a baker and a photographer – and good at both!
I should mention that at some point Sabine (from alsothecrumbsplease.com) writes about flour T45, you might not know what this is, but it is simply a type of flour with very little mineral content, so it’s very light and soft in texture.
Flour T45 is the European name, the American equivalent is Cake Flour.
I hope you like this recipe as much as I did!
Lots of love, Anne
